About Me

Welcome to Travelachia! I’m Jodi, and I enjoy photography, reading, writing, cooking, bicycling, and adventures with my better half. I grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania. After moving around, I’m back in PA, not far from where I was raised.

As a kid, I loved writing, letting my imagination run wild. One of my favorite stories is called Buried Alive, where my friends and I explored a cemetery. Sometimes I recorded stories on my Fisher Price tape recorder, even adding sound effects from a Beauty and the Beast Golden Sight and Sound Story book!

I also enjoyed taking photos growing up but really developed (see what I did there?) a love for photography in college, working in the dark room and developing black and white photos. I shoot as much as I can, whether it’s my backyard or someplace new. Landscapes and macro are my favorites!

Travelachia combines my love of writing and photography, where you’ll find travel adventures, photos, and even a few stories. I hope you enjoy exploring Travelachia!
